Hellsing's Seras Victoria

Species:

Seras used to be human but allowed herself to die and come back as a vampire in order to get the vampire priest.

Mission:

To hunt down the swarm of artificially created vampires that have begun terrorizing the streets.

Seras' 411:

Seras (also spelled Ceras) Victoria is one of Hellsing's most capable operatives, even when she was in her human form. Previously a member of the Special Forces D11 Group, she is a huge asset to the Hellsing Organization. In order to bring the vampire priest to his end, she allows herself to become one of the undead, courtesy of Arucard. Now, in addition to battling vampires, she must contend with her own blood-thirsty tendencies.
