Toonami Jetstream Says Goodbye

Just a few months after the Toonami programming block closed its doors, the Toonami Jetstream video-streaming service says goodbye too.
This was the last of the Toonami brand, a venture between Cartoon Network and VIZ Media launched in 2006. The service offered titles from both CN and Viz for free, including Blue Dragon, Zatch Bell and the popular Naruto.
In a final farewell, the Toonami Jetstream website has this message:
We greatly appreciate all the fan support for Toonami Jetstream over the past years. Starting January 30, Naruto will make its new home on CN Video at CartoonNetwork.com. Fans of MAR, Blue Dragon, and other popular Viz Media series previously featured on Toonami Jetstream should check www.viz.com for future updates.
But read it quick... after few seconds, you're instantly transported to CartoonNetwork.com.

Cartoon Network cancelled Toonami because the only thing they truly excel at is the future and I might say that we blame the future. We should request that they should relaunched Toonami for a new channel.

Man this sucks, because I’ve been watching toonami for 9 years, I’ve always loved saturday mornings and nights. Because of those shows. LIke rurouni kenshin, DBZ, yu yu hakusho, and naruto. Those shows are what pleases me, and now there showing dumb shows on CTN. I wish i could go back in time and watch those shows. Like good old times
gayruto sux dubs no version it is in anyways and so did the DUBBED version of one peice (well the 4kids version). the other shows were nice. toonami still kicked ass. dragaonball z and eyeshield 21.

So sad, toonami was like the only thing to provide me anime that was easy to find. I remember seeing dbz on toonami, all of it was good. I like some of the anime on adult swim, but its not the same. i think we all can agree that toonami was great, even if it didnt show the most popular anime, its wat got me beginning to like anime since i was a lil kid. i still think that cartoon network, instead of having a reality series (why is a cartoon station playing real life shows?) it should have more anime. But alas, the future brings changes, maybe one day theyll bring it back, or something similar to toonami. Atleast, i hope they do.

Blake Gearin i know what you mean about those shows they were the best and i dont think ill ever forget them. That was back when tv was still good. We need to bring back those shows if at all possable

I loved every action packed naruto that has come out on cartoonetwork at 900.I bet they will surprise one day on cartoonetwork.Of the new older and wiser which i read on the books now and Toonami please find a way to come back?
I wish you guys can come back, so I and other fans could watch the shows we love to see when you guys was still on air
I remember those days, when we were kids, have to run home from school just to watch the Toonami 2 hour block of the greatest animes and shows, like Ruroni Kenshin, Tenchi Muyo, Gundamu Wing, Reboot, etc. But those days are gone, aswell ash TOonami, It was what made me what i am today; an anime fan. If it wasnt for Toonami, CN (CartoonNetwork) wouldnt have had ratings. TOonami did all of the work for them. I remember Nickelodeon, KidsWB, and Toonami all did a special together on one day just to honor the greatest shows on TV, it was the best. The Midnight run, Saturday Risin Sun, all those great moments of toonami are what made me who i am today. If it wasnt for them we wouldnt be watching anime right now or even involved wih anime. So i thank you Toonami, for being the best. eventhough your ratings went down at the very end, it doesnt matter, because we all know and remember what it was like to love anime at its fullest
