Plenty of anime to talk about this week, so let's get to it shall we?
The new issue of FUNigirl is out, asking the question: who's the hotter Bishonen - Edward Elric or Roy Mustang? Also included in this month's issue is a little background on "cabbits" - half rabbit/half cat, some schooling suggestions for FUNigirl seniors and a recipe for Tsukimi Soba (aka Moon Viewing Noodles). Viz Media is sponsoring the "Gotta Catch a Ride to New York sweepstakes to promote the release of Pokemon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. FUNimation has announced that it has doubled the content on its syndicated anime block to four hours. The broadcast is shown on CoLours TV Network, available nationwide as part of DISH Network's basic satellite TV package. The new block will launch on September 11, 2006 and includes favorites such as Yu Yu Hakusho, The Slayers and Negima. The syndicated anime broadcast can be seen seven days a week starting at 8pm EST.
