Mix punk rock, an impressive female singer and a charismatic bass player and you've got Re:Play, a new manga from TOKYOPOP.

Our story follows the life of Cree Winters, a fiesty singer for a popular punk rock band. When her bassist splits, Cree wonders how the band will play until she meets Izsak. Not only is he a great bassist, but Cree finds herself with more than just feelings of admiration for him. But the budding romance will have to wait - there a couple of mysterious guys hanging around more than they should and Cree realizes these are stalkers the band could do without.

Re:Play was created by Christy Lijewski, runner-up in TOKYOPOP's third Rising Stars of Manga contest (see? it pays to enter!). From there, she went on to create Next Exit, an on-going comic series with Steve Labor Graphics and now Re:Play, her first manga for TOKYOPOP.

Rated "OT" for older teen (18+), Re:Play is an exciting and adventurous shojo romance, perfect for the music-loving manga fan.
