The human race has a new enemy known as teropterids, nasty, vampire-like creatures whose sole purpose is to drink human blood. To save the population from this horrible fate, slayers begin to emerge, dedicated to making the teropterids history. Of these slayers, Saya is the best there is... but can she handle what's waiting?
The Review
Blood: The Last Vampire is an anime classic, with brilliant animation and intense action.Saya is a mysterious vampire slayer in spite of her own obvious vampiric heritage. She's assigned to a U.S. military school to hunt and destroy two demons, but she has to go undercover as a student.
The ending is a bit lacking but if you like a supernatural thriller with enough blood and gore to truly make it worthy of a mature rating, then you'll like Blood.
