Love conquers all, even a 400 year old battle between two dominant ninja clans. Want to know more? In the year 1614 AD, the elder Shogun Ieyasu must choose a brother as his successor. The eldest, Takechiyo was the logical choice but he was lacking in smarts while his younger brother, Kunichiyo was quite clever indeed. To settle his quandry, Ieyasu decides to have a monster battle between the two dominant ninja clans, Koga and Iga. Each clan would choose their best 10 warriors and if Koga won, Kunichiyo would become Shogun; if Iga were the victor, Takechiyo would inherit the honor.
With the two clans involved in a battle that had lasted for the past 400 years, the plan seemed to be a reasonable request. But what Ieyasu doesn't know is that Gennosuke of Koga and Oboro of Iga have fallen in love and vowed to end the long-standing feud between the two clans. Unfortunately, it looks like Ieyasu's plan may pit the two lovers against each other in a match to the death.
