Created by Mayumi Azuma, Elemental Gelade is the story of Coud Van Giruet, a sky pirate who happens upon Reverie Metherlence, an "Edel Raid" or living weapon that possesses great fighting abilities. As time passes, Ren and Cou develop feelings for each other and he promises that he will protect Ren at any cost. And a cost there is - when Ren is captured to be sold on the black market, Cou must find a way to save her.
Rated T for ages 13 and up, Elemental Gelade is an action-filled manga with a sci-fi twist. You can currently find Volumes 1 and 2 at your favorite manga stores - Volume 3 is due out in March of 2007.
