Pre-law student Samantha Beagley's life has always followed a certain path: the one she planned. However, on her 18th birthday, the arrival of a very special present brings with it a whole galaxy full of weird, wild people, places and things! Suddenly, this control freak finds herself on the run from the intergalactic feds on a desperately hilarious quest to find a stolen treasure—and prevent the Earth's destruction!Meet Sam, a bright student with a bright future. To save the Earth, Sam must find the Evolutionary Cube but unfortunately, Mom and Dad are no help. So living up to her "take-charge" personality, Sam does what any 18 year old would do - she joins up with some pretty shady characters and goes off on her own journey to find the Cube and save her world.
