Seeking Animation Artist for independent New York City video documentary, TEA & JUSTICE. Must have experience. Anime style is a plus. Animation will be used briefly for transitions throughout the work. Available June/July. Must live in Metro NYC area.
TEA & JUSTICE is a compelling, intriguing, complex subject: 6 Asian American female cops and detectives in NYPD, immigrant community experience and social justice e.g.: examining policing style of women vs. men; issues of underserved minority communities, affirmative action for women, minorities and gays, police brutality and activist cops.
TEA & JUSTICE is content driven. Shot mostly in Betacam SP and DVC Pro by Emmy winning DP; original music with award winning musicians, composers; original art work; brief animation; and poetic narration plus the usual documentary elements: interviews, narration based on research, etc.
Compensation: Fee and credits - negotiable, commensurate to experience-skills. Indy micro budget; non-profit fiscal sponsor.
