A new opportunity for all you aspiring anime artists out there. The Los Angeles County Fire Department is preparing to launch a unique, public education program to reduce fire-related deaths among children and families.
F.I.R.E. (Family Instruction for Rapid Escape), targets school-aged kids and teaches them how to safely get out of the house in the event of a fire. To help illustrate this new program, the LA County Fire Department is looking for a professional anime or manga style artist to develop and draw characters in various poses.
The money is modest, but with potential for great exposure. The chosen artist will also have the opportunity to have their logo and info on all printed materials.
