Misa is a drop-dead gorgeous blond bombshell who's an actress, model and killer in her spare time. She obtains her Death Note from Rem, another Shinigami who is utterly devoted to her. Misa makes a deal with Rem that allows her to see people's names and lifespans over their heads unless, they own a Death Note. When she realizes that Light is the Kira killer, she falls madly in love with him and joins him as the second "Kira".
