So... how was your weekend? In between the shopping, laundry and ho-hum errands, I managed to squeeze in a little time at the Dallas Wizard World convention. Held at the impressive Arlington Convention Center, Wizard World was packed with anime, comic and gaming enthusiasts from several states. Exhibitors like Beckett Comics (DBZ) and FUNimation (Dragon Ball, Inuyasha, Case Closed) had booths set up with all sorts of great posters and giveaways. We found Trigun and Cowboy Bebop t-shirts plus some excellent Appleseed, Akira and Vash action figures (including the sunglasses variation).
Guests included Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings), Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and Summer Glau (Serenity). Also on hand at the FUNimation booth was Chris Sabat and Justin Cook, voice actors for Vegeta and Raditz respectively.
