If you live around Atlanta and you're looking for an anime filled weekend, here's your solution: the annual Anime Weekend Atlanta is coming in September!From September 24-26, 2004, Atlanta will be booming with anime. Held at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel and Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, the annual AWA is a must-go for any anime/manga fan.
What's in store this year at the AWA? A dealer's room that's over 30,000 square feet - that means lots of great anime goodies for you to browse and buy. The Anime Theatre will be screening all your favorites and you can catch the classics as well as the up and coming in one of their many video rooms. Lots of cosplay, an anime music video contest and gaming should round out your stay. AWA is also hosting a formal dance so be sure to wear your anime best.
