How do you capture the anime or manga style in words rather than in images? That's what The Harrow wants you to figure out.The Harrow is currently sponsoring an animanga scene-writing contest. No pictures... just the power of your words.
To enter, write an original horror or fantasy scene in an anime/manga style that puts personality/emotion-driven characters into an unusual and gripping situation. Scenes must be shojo or shonen in content and are limited to 1,000 words or less.
Each of the three winners will be mailed a set of the first four brand-new TokyoPop POP novels: Scrapped Princess, Kino No Tabi , Witches' Forest , and Magic Moon. Winners will also be featured in The Harrow's October issue. Only one entry per contestant.
To enter, visit The Harrow's website. But hurry... contest ends September 25, 2006.
