If you're a Miyazaki fan, you're going to love this.

In honor of the movie, Howl's Moving Castle, scheduled to hit the theaters this summer, VIZ Media has announced the release of three book projects to compliment Miyazaki's work.

The first release is The Art of Howl's Moving Castle, a hard cover and full-color illustrated look at the creative behind the creation. Due to hit anime stores in July, the book will include concept sketches, fully rendered character and background drawings and interviews with the Studio Ghibli production staff. There's also some commentary from director Miyazaki himself.

Next on the production list is Howl's Moving Castle Film Comics, set to be released sometime in August 2005. This four volume graphic novel will present Howl's story frame by frame.

In October, a picture book for younger readers will grace your favorite anime shelves. Howl's Moving Castle Picture Book will present a simple, full-color Howl companion for the younger anime fans in your house.

Howl's Moving Castle is the story of Sophie, an average teenage girl who finds love and adventure when she meets Howl, a charming and dapper wizard. But watch out for the Wicked Witch of the Wastelands - her jealousy will get you everytime. Seeking to defeat the witch's curse, Sophie moves into Howl's moving castle and begins an exciting and surprising journey, complete with magic, mystery and a fire demon for good measure.

Hayao Miyazaki is a long-standing anime genius, known for works such as Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky and Princess Mononoke. The movie is set to reach U.S. theaters on July 10, 2005. You can see the official website from Disney Pictures here.
