Roy Revant is living the hard life of a bounty hunter in a broken city, a city where thousands have died in a mysterious event called the Blast Fall. Those who survived share the sting of loss. Countelss Resembles walk the streets, people whose mangled bodies have been rebuilt with high-tech prosthetic devices. Yet, there are those that even science cannot mend. Roy needs a miracle to escape his rut... and one night she falls from the sky. Like countless others, Solty is a Resemble, but one unlike the world has ever known. A young girl without a past, soon she will have a family. But in this world, pain and alienation are never too far away.

This is SoltyRei, one of FUNimation's latest anime releases and what a fun release it is. SoltyRei is the story of well... Solty Rei, a young girl who's machine from head to toe, despite her sweet and innocent appearance. She has no past, or at least no memory of a past and no family to speak of. Lucky for her, Roy Revant is trying to fill the void in his heart, left there when he lost his daughter in the Blast Fall. So its no surprise that these two decide to stick together when they meet up. Its as if it was destiny...

A little dark but oh so enjoyable, Solty Rei is a sci-fi anime adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat. Something is coming... we just don't quite know what it is yet.
