Happy new year everyone! It's that time once again... what will it be this year? Lose weight? Get in shape? Here's my anime resolutions for 2006.Looking over last year's resolutions, I realized that I missed a few during 2005. I still haven't managed to host that anime party (although once again, I attended quite a few cons) and I'm not yet fluent in Japanese. That said, I did manage to add a host of creative resources to the website to help you build your own anime website and create your own anime music videos. Look for lots more of this in 2006! Those cons I attended also let me spend some quality time with my family and share our passion for anime, so score another one for me on the resolution list :)
What's in store for 2006? Having been the anime guide for a few years now, I think its time for a face lift. Watch for lots of changes in the categories, new and updated links and brand new sections on Japanese food, culture and yes, some language lessons as well. I'll also be adding more resources for your anime clubs, websites and music videos and maybe even an original online manga by yours truly... no promises on that last one, but I do have a few ideas in the works :)
What can you do to make 2006 your best year yet? Life is definitely what you make of it. Use this year wisely and treat each moment as if it were on purpose (my favorite quote from "Hitch". Broaden those horizons by learning Japanese ink painting or try your hand at writing kanji. Attend a few cons, make your own cosplay costume or join me in the adventure of writing your very first manga. You never know until you try.
