TOKYOPOP announces its 5th Rising Stars of Manga Contest. Realizing that there's a whole slew of talented artists out there, TOKYOPOP wants to see your work. What do you get out of the deal? Possible publication and maybe a little prize money to boot. First place receives a cash prize of $2,500; second place grabs $1,500; third place gets a cool grand and four lucky runner-ups will get $500 each. There's also a new People's Choice category this year that will bring another $500 prize. Plus the top 20 finalists will have the pleasure of seeing their submission posted on TOKYOPOP's website.I've heard from many of you that you're dying to break into Anime... well my little sweeties.... here's your chance.
