Jun 5 2005
With manga's popularity soaring ever higher, it was only a matter of time before someone found a format that even our youngest audience could enjoy. And wouldn't you know it would be Tokyopop?

In a recent press release, Tokyopop announced the launch of their new line of manga - Jr. Cine-Manga - designed exclusively for the younger readers, ages 3 to 6. These new Jr. Cine-Manga books will feature an average of two art panels per page with large, manga-style text balloons, captions and sound effects to capture the attention of their very young readers.

The Jr. Cine-Manga line will kick off with three titles: Hasbro's My Little Pony: Friends Are Never Far Away, Sesame Street: Happy, Healthy Monsters and Sesame Street: Elmo and Zoe Fly A Kite.

The new Jr. Cine-Manga books will be priced at a low $3.99 and are expected to grace your favorite book stores this July.
