Like manga? Then here's some news for you. VIZ Media just announced eleven new manga series set to hit your favorite manga shelves sometime this fall.At the 2006 BookExpo America show in Washington DC, VIZ Media debuted eleven new manga titles that are scheduled for release in the third quarter (this fall). Included in the pack are:
- Naruto Anime Profiles - designed to serve as a comprehensive guide to the series, the Naruto Anime Profiles book includes original illustrations and production art as well as a detailed description of episodes 1 through 37.
- Buso Renkin - From the creator of Rurouni Kenshin, Buso Renkin is the story of Kazuki Muto, a teenager who sacrificed his life to save a girl from a monster. The girl Tokiko Tsumura, revives Buso by replacing his heart with a kakugane, an alchemic device that not only brings him back to life but also arms him with a lance to battle the evile monsters.
- Princess Mononoke Film Comics - Taking Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece to paper, Princess Mononoke Film Comics is the classic story of our favorite prince who becomes infected with an incurable disease. Caught in the middle of a war between forest animals and the inhabitants of a mining town, he finds help from Princess Mononoke, a young girl raised by wolves.
- Shojo Beat Manga Artist Academy - Aspiring manga artists will want this one. Follow Satomi Panda as she follows her dream of becoming a manga artist. Along the way, she receives help from notables such as Yuu Watase, Mayu Shinju and Rie Takada.
