In a recent press release, 4Kids Entertainment announced a new release from their Home Video department: Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters Part 1.Following up to the hit movie, Capsule Monsters has Yugi, Tea, Joey and Tristen facing off against a whole new gang of monsters. But defeating them won't be quite so easy and to win, the group must learn to work as a team and trade their reliable Duel Disks for a new technology - Capsule Shooters.
Our story starts with Joey winning a fantastic trip for 4 and Yugi and the gang think they're headed for the vacation of a lifetime. But before they can reach their exotic destination, their plane crashes in a deserted forest where they meet Dr. Alex Brisbane and discover an amazing secret: hidden in the forest is a portal to another dimension - the world of Capsule Monsters! Sound familiar? It should. The new movie is based on the recent Capsule Monsters game from Mattell which, by the way was based on Season 5 of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TV series.
