According to a posting at Anime News Network, Bandai Entertainment will be releasing the complete DVD collection of Vision of Escaflowne in April.The story of Hitomi Kanzaki, Vision of Escaflowne is a fantastic sci-fi anime thriller. Once a normal teenager, Hitomi is suddenly plagued by visions of a mysterious man and his battles with a dragon. But are they just visions?
Hitomi is drawn into Gaea, the world of her mysterious dream man, Van. Van must learn to master a strange suit of armor known as Escaflowne if he hopes to overcome the Empire of Zaibach.
