Yu Yu Hakusho:Dark Tournament for PS2

Atari has jumped on the Yu Yu Hakusho bandwagon with its Dark Tournament game for Playstation 2 due to release this week.

Featuring several modes of gameplay, Yu Yu Hakusho:Dark Tournament sports 25 characters from the original anime series. The games also follows the Dark Tournament saga and theirs original voiceovers so Yu Yu Hakusho fans will feel right at home.

Powers and abilities are appropriately matched with each character and you start the game with many of them already in your pocket, all of which depend upon your spirit energy level in the game.

Clearing a stage will earn you some extra Hakusho goodies like alternate outfits for your character and tokens that you can use in a simple and separate game included on the cartridge. You can also gain additional attacks and open up a few new characters as well

Yu Yu Hakusho: Dark Tournament is definitely anime and PS2 worthy. Look for it to hit the shelves on August 17, 2004.
