AstroBoy Premier

We've waited long enough, haven't we? I mean, really... its been how long. But its finally here. That's right... AstroBoy is back.

Dubbed as the series that started the anime boom, AstroBoy was originally Tetsuwan Atom, a comic series that debuted in 1951, written by Osamu Tezuka. It was later animated in the 60's and has been what most consider to be the catalyst for anime everywhere.

And now its back.

Cartoon Network has picked up AstroBoy and has added it to their Toonami weekday collection. Check it out and see where it all started.
