Skewed in favor of Funimation titles and dubbed anime. Fairly obvious that few female fans participated in the nomination round.

The shows may have been released in 2009 in Japan, but they were offered in in English last year, which is why they’re featured here.

Please keep the discussion civil.

While I do like FUNimation alot, I would have to agree with tuxedocat – this nomination round is extremely biased towards FUNimation and dubbed products. Would have liked to see titles like Ano Hana and perhaps some more titles from Sentai and the other distributors. Perhaps even having an Other option?

A number of non-FUNimation titles did show up in the nomination phase, which is why I encouraged as many people as possible to vote in that round as well.

Err, AnoHana was made in 2011….and therefore wouldn’t be on the list? I liked how Another made it in the top 4….I was a big fan of that show. I’m in the process of watching Steins; Gate, myself.
