Who would have thought the screenwriter for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ergo Proxy and Eureka Seven would become the screenwriter for the 3D CGI Tekken film? Nobody, most likely -- but that's precisely what happened.
In a panel at AnimeFest 2011, Dai Sato sat down in front of an eager audience to explain how he got involved in the project, what sorts of twists and turns his take on the story included, and how he got the folks at Namco to accept the wild, girl-buddy-movie adventure he concocted.
