'Monster' Hits iTunes

Monday October 19, 2009

In a recent press release, VIZ Media has announced that the first two episodes of Naoki Urasawa's Monster are now available on iTunes.

In addition, new episodes will continue to be added on the day after it airs on SyFy in the U.S.

Monster is the story of Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a neurosurgeon who risks his career to save the life of a young boy only to discover later that the boy he saved has grown up to be an "ice-cold killer".

"We're excited to make Naoki Urasawa's Monster available on iTunes," says Ken Sasaki, Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at VIZ Media. "Tension and suspense reach new heights and nothing is as it seems as Dr. Tenma plays a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a vicious serial killer."

The first box set of Monster is expected to go on sale on December 8, 2009.
