Joost Streams No More

One of the original video-streaming companies - Joost - has decided to bow out of the consumer-oriented streaming venue and instead focus its efforts on commercial projects in need of online video services.

Unable to compete with Hulu and Crunchyroll (anime), Joost will re-establish itself as a technology services provider. The change is expected to result in a layoff of less than 100 employees.
