Gurren Lagann The Movie To Premier at Anime Expo 2009

Those of you planning to attend the Anime Expo 2009 con in California this year are in for an extra special treat - Gainax and Aniplex have announced they will be showing the new Gurren Lagann movie for the first time in the U.S. at the con.
Gurren Lagann The Movie: Childhood's End is based on the Gurren Lagann television series and is the first of two films set to debut - #2 is currently screening at theaters in Japan.
Directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, Gurren Lagann the Movie will be shown on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 7:30pm PST at the Anime Expo convention held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
