If you're looking for some new anime to add to your collection, look no further - here's what's coming out on DVD this week:
Black Blood Brothers - Box Set - If you missed picking up the individual volumes, this is definitely one to get. BBB only has 12 episodes in the entire series so while its short-lived, its one of my favorite new anime shows. The characters are pretty well-developed, especially given the fact that there's not much time for development and its really a fun watch.
Naruto - Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom DVD 3 - This is the third movie in the Naruto series and comes as a 2-disc set with extras including lots of commentary from the cast plus a Naruto trivia game to test your knowledge.
Nadia: Secret of Blue Water Collection 1 - This beautiful collection captures volumes 1 through 5 of this enticing series from VIZ Media based loosely on the classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne. Also included in the release are two CD soundtracks.
Dragon Ball Z - There are several DBZ releases hitting the DVD shelves this week: Dragon Ball Z Season 7, Dragon Ball Z Movies 5 & 6: Cooler's Revenge / Return of Cooler (DVD & Blu-Ray) plus Dragon Ball GT Season 1 Box Set.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nahoha Box Set - This is the entire first season of the television series from Geneon about a young mage from a faraway planet who accidentally transports himself to Earth in the form of a ferrett. Through some telepathic talents, a girl named Takamachi is able to come to his rescue and after being given a magic object, she is transformed into Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha.
