Ready for your weekly dose of anime news? Well here you go :)
More on the on-going Dragonball live-action drama - the Sankei Shimbun newspaper has posted what is being called the first official poster from the DB live-action movie. This one features Justin Chatwin (Goku) holding a dragon ball with his back to the camera. According to the post at ANN, the poster reads "Opens worldwide at maximum speed on March 13, 2009." Previously the opening date was said to be April so have they bumped up the release by a few weeks? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
If you're looking for something new to watch, don't forget that the new Naruto Movie (2nd) - The Legend of the Stone of Gelel - hits your favorite DVD shelves on July 29th. Also due out on the 29th is Shuffle! Volume 5, xxxHolic Volume 4 and Samurai Gun Complete Collection.

Voice actor Mike Kleinhenz passed away on July 11, 2008, after suffering a heart attack. Known best for the voice of Kalinin in Full Metal Panic!, Kleinhenz also played Friday Monday in Madlax and The Raven in Princess Tutu, just to name a short few of his long list of credits. Kleinhenz was 56 years old.
