Lots and lots happening in anime this week, so let's just get to it.. shall we?
Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai is out on DVD, hitting the shelves on May 27th.
In this latest release, Ash encounters the mysterious Darkrai. Who or "what" is Darkrai remains to be seen. Can Ash his friends survive the showdown? The Rise of Darkrai is the tenth Pokemon movie and will retail for $19.98.
TOKYOPOP is hosting a manga pilot review and they're asking you - the reader - to pick your favs. Browse through the manga pilots and choose which ones get made into full-length mangas!
FUNimation has confirmed the acquisition of D. Gray-Man, an anime series based on the gothic manga by Katsura Hoshino. D. Gray-Man is the story of Allen Walker, a member of The Black Order - a secretive organization whose members are called "exorcists". These members are specially chosen humans with the ability to use a divine substance called "innocence" to battle the Millennium Earl, an ancient being looking to destroy the world and all its inhabitants.
FUNimation expects to release the first volume of D. Gray-Man in early 2009.
