Anime News - 2/3/07

Its that time again... let's find out what's happening in anime this week! :)
For those of you gearing up for your very first anime convention, Ada Palmer has posted a fantastic Convention and Cosplay Survival Guide on her TOKYOPOP site. Complete with sections on how to pick your con, registration and cosplay warnings, follow this guide and you'll be able to con like a pro :)
According to a post at Anime on DVD, Bandai Entertainment has announced the release of the live action Cutie Honey: The Movie on April 17, 2007. The Limited Edition DVD will include a cool Cutie Honey lunch box case and keychain and will retail for $29.98 or $49.98 for the LE.
Jonathan from Katana Studios sent me an email looking for anime writers, artists, animators and voice actors and actresses. The project is a collaboration to create an original anime and participants will share in the profits. For information, visit his website at Katana-Studios.com
And finally, a few years ago, I wrote How to Become A Super Saiyan in honor of DBZ. Apparently, the aspiration to go SS is bigger than I'd realized because I've received a ton of comments and emails on this recently. So, tell me... is the DBZ boom back? And if so, what have you done to become a Super Saiyan?
